Marketing Associate



Our mission is to make a global impact by improving the performance of our clients. As a Marketing Associate at Plative, you will be helping us get this message to the world on the ground floor of Plative's marketing and alliances team. In this role, you’ll be counted on to work cross-functionally across sales, delivery, operations and more. You’re a strategic thinker and would rather ask for forgiveness than permission. You take a creative approach to challenges and initiatives and never settle for 'OK'. You’re thoughtful and deliberate with a strong bias towards action and you care deeply about what we're doing.

Here's what you'll do:

  • Establish our partner alliances and customer marketing programs.
  • Create, build, and manage email nurture campaigns with a targeted outbound strategy to foster relationships with dormant, existing customers
  • Partner with internal subject matter experts and business leaders at Plative to write branded content for email campaigns, Plative Insights, or our social media presence
  • Manage and promote Plative's social media, including Linkedin, Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook including replying to and contributing to the Salesforce, NetSuite, and AWS ecosystem
  • Manage recurring digital company events, with the intent of driving attendance by designing and creating event landing pages, managing sign-ups, and subscriptions, and ensuring successful execution of these events
  • Partner with Plative clients to create and publish success stories and case studies (as seen here:
  • Determining a plan for SEO/SEM including creating a budget, plan, and establishing benchmarks for ad performance
  • Writing copy as a baseline for our blog based on insights that you gather from our subject matter experts to keep the blog content coming

Tools you'll use every day:

  • Pardot marketing automation is how we manage our email campaigns and marketing calendar.
  • Zoom Webinars and conferences is how we facilitate webinars.
  • Canva / Photoshop to create digital collateral and imagery for our assets (see for examples)
  • Salesforce Sales Cloud is how we manage campaigns and conversion from MQL to SQL
  • Slack is how we collaborate internally as well as externally with the clients who retain us
  • WordPress is how we publish blogs and manage our website

How your success will be measured:

  • MQLs converted to SQLs per month as a result of our marketing efforts
  • Frequency of new content published on Plative Insights, social handles, and our webinar calendar
  • Adherence to our monthly marketing and digital events goals
  • Revenue attributed to inbound marketing and demand generation efforts

Basic qualifications:

  • 2+ years working in marketing for a professional services firm or SaaS company
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce and/or NetSuite ecosystem
  • An aptitude for copywriting, campaign management and creation, and overall business development
  • Self-starter attitude, drive/initiative to create and take ownership of projects
