Presales NetSuite Solution Consultant

Job Description:

The Solution Consultant will work with the Plative sales organization to sell the value of NetSuite solutions, gather complex requirements, and design solutions to ensure the successful implementation of the platform. With your industry and technical expertise, you will support Plative and NetSuite Account Executives through custom product demonstrations, solution architecture and detailed proposal creation. Additionally, Solutions Consultants will act as liaisons between Plative Account Executives and Project Managers to articulate customer requirements and build a road map for customer success.

Responsibilities

  • Inspire clients to improve their performance through the use of the NetSuite platform
  • Lead business discussions and alignments with business stakeholders to advise on required products,
  • configurations, and customization based on the clients needs
  • Design, and deliver inspirational demonstrations to prospective and existing NetSuite customers
  • Manage and prioritize sales opportunities
  • Collaborate with the Managing Director and delivery resources to continuously develop our solution design and product roadmap
  • Provide input to other cross-functional departments pertaining to customer requests and product enhancements as needed
  • Maintain account and opportunity updates within Salesforce CRM system to manage and prioritize sales opportunities
  • Perform requirement analysis for new and existing customers ensuring their needs are met in the sales process

Qualifications

  • 2-5 + years in a NetSuite pre-sales or consulting role
  • Experience working with one or more of the following:
  • Technology
  • Professional Services
  • Media
  • Manufacturing & Distribution
  • Non-Profit
  • Consumer
  • Financial Services
  • In-depth understanding of ERP and the following functional areas:
    • CRM and Marketing
    • Financial Management
    • Revenue Management
    • Project Management and SRP preferred
    • Procurement, Manufacturing and Advanced Inventory preferred
    • Suitebilling and Subscription Management preferred
  • Previous experience in sales of CRM and ERP applications
  • Experience with financial application packages and a thorough understanding of accounting principles
  • Solid presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability to influence others to successfully increase deal size and accelerate the buying process
  • Infrequent travel may be required
