Galaxy Digital is a technology-driven financial services and investment management firm that provides institutions and direct clients with a full suite of financial solutions spanning the digital assets ecosystem. Galaxy Digital operates five synergistic business lines: Trading, Asset Management, Principal Investments, Investment Banking, and Mining.

Challenges

Galaxy Digital needed a platform to manage their business in one, centralized platform. Due to the nature of the blockchain/digital currency space, Galaxy also needed a platform flexible enough to bolt on new lines of business as the industry continues to evolve.

Solution

Plative implemented Salesforce Sales Cloud as their central platform for tracking investors across all lines of business; prime brokerage, venture capital, sales & trading, investment banking and more. The paramount requirement of this implementation was activity tracking so Outlook was integrated with Salesforce to connect their email and calendar using Salesforce Inbox. An added layer of activity capture automation was built using Einstein Activity Capture with a custom activity log feature to ensure compliance adherence. Galaxy Digital now manages their various lines of business, on Salesforce.

Outcomes

Salesforce allowed Galaxy Digital to eliminate the manual work of spreadsheets and use a single system for their customer relationship management. The use of dashboards enhanced their reporting capabilities across the business and memorialized key fundraising and deal milestones, with further reporting on portfolio allocation and growth.
