Overview

Virtus Investment Partners provides investment management products and services to individuals and institutions. They operate a multi-manager asset management business, comprising a number of individual affiliated managers, each with a distinct investment style, autonomous investment process and individual brand.

Challenges

Virtus leveraged a legacy SalesPage CRM which lacked functionality in terms of user experience, reporting, marketing capabilities, mobile ease of use, and limited platform flexibility for configuration.

Solution

Plative worked with Virtus to create and execute upon a firm-wide Salesforce roadmap. Starting with Retail Distribution, a Salesforce CRM was deployed to be used by Wholesalers (internal and external) to manage their respective territories and accounts within. Integrations to key data sources were configured to present Virtus users with sales transaction data to summarize performance across regions, national accounts, and rep territories.

Outcomes

 The newly introduced Salesforce environment allowed for the Retail Distribution teams (internal and external wholesalers) to better collaborate, manage territories, forecast, and make decisions based on data.
